Framework concept & guiding principles
Framework concept & guiding principles
The day care centers of the Nonprofit Society of Franciscan Sisters (GFO) have developed a common framework concept. In addition, each kindergarten has its own orientation and specific offers.
Our understanding of guidance is family-supplementing education. Therefore, we work intensively with the legal guardians and respect their family culture.
You can find further information in our comprehensive information:
The guiding principles of the day care centers of the GFO formulate the basic attitude of our work on the ground of our Franciscan roots. The educational processes of your child are shaped and accompanied - our pedagogical actions primarily see the strengths of your children. These guiding principles should have a daily impact on your child and make our attitudes transparent. We would like to be measured against them.
In order for us to succeed in this strong connection to everyday life, we have attached great importance from the very beginning to involving all employees in the development as far as possible. Your kindergarten team identifies with the guiding principles precisely because we have always taken into account the specific orientation of the individual facilities on site when translating them into everyday activities.
The daycare centers have become increasingly important in the GFO network. Their number has grown steadily in recent years. In order to maintain our quality at a high level, we have increasingly developed standards for our daycare centers. We compare our pedagogical actions and provide each other with mutual support in manager conferences.
