Daily routine
The daily routine in our U3 GFO Kindergarten Löwenzahn is structured in such a way that a balance with offers for rest and relaxation phases balance the eventful time. Our task is to maintain a balance between structure and a high degree of flexibility, while orienting ourselves to the needs of the children.
We welcome the children into our groups by 9:15 am. They start the day with a free play period and the opportunity to have breakfast. Until 11:00 a.m., the children play according to their interests and needs. At the same time, there are impulse offers for the educational areas. These are based on the individual situation and the interests of the children.
At the same time, we give the children the opportunity to consciously discover materials for shaping, sensitizing the senses, and stimulating movement.
Lunch time is between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The children have the opportunity to eat in three groups at different times in the communal kitchen. We receive our meals from the GFO Center Drolshagen - Wohnen & Pflege St. Gerhardus.
Afterwards, the afternoon children are accompanied to sleep. Some of the children are picked up by 12:30 p.m. or alternatively continue to play in the group.
In the afternoon, there is further free play, an afternoon snack, situational offers from interns, exercise in the gym or on the playground. Depending on the booking time, the children are picked up by 2:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. accordingly.
